Having been born and brought up in the Far East, I grew up with the travel bug. Upon leaving school I studied travel and tourism and continued my passion to travel with the aim to experience as many places as possible.

I have travelled extensively all over the world, visiting many different countries and regions.  I love to see the world from different perspective and I have enjoyed the experiences of staying in a tribal hut in Thailand, working on a Kibbutz in Israel, seeing the Komodo dragons in Indonesia, skiing in the Alps, family cruising with the children and staying in 5 star luxury accommodation in the Caribbean.

My top travel tip is to take a picture of passports and travel documents on your phone so that it is easily accessible and available if you misplace your documents.

I have been fortunate to have travelled around the world and love cities and beaches as well as great scenery and exciting things to do. I also enjoy nice hotels and great food!

My favourites (so far) are:

Beaches: Borocay in the Philippines and Grand Anse in Grenada

Cities: Sydney, New York, Bangkok, Cape Town and Hong Kong, Venice, Barcelona and Stockholm

Scenery: Geiranger fjord in Norway, Phang Nga Bay in Thailand and Portofino and the Ligurian Coast in Italy

Things to do: Watching blue and humpback whales off Monterey California, killer whales off Victoria in Canada, travelling in Superjeeps across the glaciers of Iceland, driving snowmobiles in Finland and cage diving with Great White Sharks in Walker Bay South Africa.

I have always had a passion for travel and have been so lucky to have travelled to a variety of destinations around the world. From backpacking across the world to staying in some beautiful hotels locally, the world really is full of amazing sights and experiences all waiting to be explored!

My favourites (so far) are: Beaches: St Brelades Bay in Jersey and Turquoise Bay in Western Australia

Cities: Lisbon, Christchurch, Perth, Hoi An, Vancouver

Scenery: Road to Glenorchy in New Zealand and most of New Zealand! Åndalsnes in Norway, Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

Things to do: Cycle around the vineyards in Marlborough New Zealand, sampling some of the best Sauvignon Blanc wines in the region/world! Sleep under a blanket of stars on an African safari adventure. Feel the adrenalin as you sky dive over the Great Barrier Reef – or dive straight into it and see the multitude of marine life living in it. Or why not take a cultural adventure sampling some of the amazing cuisine that South East Asia offers.

I have been very fortunate to have been able to travel to some amazing places over the years from the Costa Rican Jungle to sitting in little Greek family run Tavernas and being amazed by the elephants on Safari. I have been involved with the admin side of travel for 20 years and have loved every minute.

My Favourites (so far) are: Beaches: Captiva Florida. Daytona Beach Florida. Pink Sands, Harbour Island. Cane Garden Bay, Tortola.

Cities: New York. Florence. Washington. Oslo. Athens.

Scenery: Most of New Zealand, especially the road to Glenorchy from Queenstown. The spectacular colours of New England in the Fall. Lake Bled with the Castle and the Alps. Arenal Volcano appearing through the clouds.

Things to do: Zipline through the Costa Rican jungle and watch the antics of the monkeys. People watch in central Park. Watch the Orcas off the coast of New Zealand. Soak up the tranquillity and peace from taking a boat out on the Canadian Lakes. Be amazed by the ‘David’ in Florence.

Finally, make friends with all the locals no matter where you are!
